  1. Sign-in to your iTunes account on your computer with Apple ID, if you do not have an Apple ID, you can make a new one anytime.
  2. Do not hurry to attach your iPad with the computer. You need to first drop your iPad into recovery mode.
  3. Press and hold the power / unlock button until the red slider appears.
  4. Drag the slider to the right to turn off your iPad.
  5. Now press and hold both the power button and home button until the Apple logo starts appearing on the iPad’s screen.
  6. Release the power button first and then the home button, this will drop the iPad in recovery mode.
  7. You are advised to perform steps 5 & 6 while connecting the iPad with the computer via lightning cable.
  8. Once you are successfully connected, iTunes will launch itself automatically.
  9. You will find an option “Restore” in the iTunes window, click on that.
  10. Now your iPad will get restored to default settings as it used to be at the time of purchase. This might take a few minutes.

Now you set new passcode and literally perform every set as the new iPad. You do not need to worry about the sign-in Tunes account too because you can use any sign-in credentials you like or make a new one.

Note: You need to first learn that this is a time-sensitive process, if not done within the time frame of 15 minutes, you might have to start the whole process right from the first step.
