PhoneGnome Setup
You don't need to install any software or perform any configuration. PhoneGnome setup is automatic. Just connect PhoneGnome using the supplied cables and it will configure itself.
PhoneGnome works with your existing residential phone service.
(1) Connect the phone cord to the LINE jack of the PhoneGnome. (2) Plug the other end of the phone cord into the phone jack on the wall or into the PHONE output of your existing VoIP adapter if you are using a VoIP phone service such as AT&T, Vonage, or Cable VoIP.
PhoneGnome works with your ordinary phones.
(1) Connect the phone cord to the PHONE jack on the PhoneGnome. (2) Plug the other end of the phone cord into any touchtone phone (corded or cordless).
PhoneGnome uses your existing broadband internet home network.
(1) Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into your DSL or cable modem network router. (2) Plug the other end into the LAN jack on your PhoneGnome.
PhoneGnome is designed to automatically detect connection settings for broadband. No configuration is required.
Configuration is fully automatic.
When you apply power, PhoneGnome will begin its self-configuration process. PhoneGnome will be ready to use in just a few minutes.
